Brian's career in glassmaking began as a teen in the city where he grew up, Waterford, Ireland. There, at Waterford Crystal he completed his apprenticeship and mastered.
Years later a business opportunity brought Brian to Halifax Nova Scotia where he continued with the craft for Nova Scotian Crystal.
Recently, he moved to Nova Scotia’s South Shore, the coastal area of Blue Rocks, where he has set up his own studio.
Here, Brian has stepped away from crystal production and instead embraced both clear and colour glassmaking.
